Our friends love fruit. And drinks. And making things themselves. And so, the Do-It-Yourself Smoothie Bar Party was born. We just set out all kinds of fruit, some vegetables, different kinds of juice, tea, milk, nuts, nut butters, etc. and allow each student or student pair to put together a bowl of things they’d like to have in their smoothie. Then we add the items to the blender a little at a time, blend it up, and fill their cups with their customized drink and a fun, colorful straw to go with it. Students cut the fruit themselves, so it’s really low-prep for us.
