Sausage Meatballs

These sausage meatballs were easy to throw together and were well-received. They worked well as part of some kabobs we made for guests. They’re great for making kabobs, using on sausage ball sandwiches, or eating for breakfast or snack!

2 pounds ground pork

1 egg

½ cup panko breadcrumbs

2 Tablespoons Italian seasoning

1 ½ teaspoons sage

1 ½ teaspoons salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

½ teaspoon thyme

1 ¼ teaspoon ground red pepper (more or less to desired level of spiciness)

Directions and Notes:

1. Combine all ingredients and roll into 1 ½ inch meatballs.

2. Bake for about 12 minutes at 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Makes 50-60 meatballs.
