This article is one of several from the VOA Student Union that I use in my culture classes. We read this article written by an International student in both my American Culture and Culture of English-Speaking Countries classes. It does a good job of clearly outlining five major differences between the education my students are used to in China and what education is like in the United States. I like that my students can hear the information directly from an international student– someone from their culture who has traveled to America– so they can see things through the eyes of someone similar to them.
