Teaching English: Actor & Actress Interview Activity {& Free Printable}

I made these actor and actress interview cards to practice speaking in the context of celebrity interviews. Students each received one actor or actress card with basic information including an actor or actress’ name, birthday, some information about their childhood, some movies they’ve starred in, etc. Students then had to practice formulating basic questions to carry on a brief interview. Students did not need to stick to the information on the cards, but the cards provided a starting point and some key information for students who needed some direction.

After students practiced their interviews in partner pairs they performed for the whole class. The following week they got to pretend to be famous themselves and use a little more creativity with their interviews.

I printed the cards on heavy paper at a local print shop and mounted them on card stock. Click here to download the PDF file: Actor Cards
