Raw Peanut Butter Cookie Dough Balls (With Chocolate Chips!)



¾ cups quick-cooking oats or ground oats

½ cup peanut butter

2- 4 Tablespoons honey (depending on whether peanut butter already contains sugar; when using natural peanut butter we like them with the whole 4 Tablespoons of honey)

2 Tablespoons wheat germ

½ teaspoon vanilla

¼ cup chocolate chips

Directions and Notes:

1. If grinding the oats, add the oats to the food processor first and process until as fine as desired. (We prefer to grind the oats rather than using ones that are not ground, but we don’t process them all the way to powder/ flour; we prefer a little more texture in the final product.)

2. Add the remainder of the ingredients, except for the chocolate chips and process until combined. (You can also do this by hand if preferred.)

3. Stir in the chocolate chips. Form into 1- 1 ½ “ balls and place in freezer for at least one hour before eating them.
