4 chicken legs
1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 Tablespoons diced onion
2 Tablespoons ketchup
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
2 Tablespoons cornstarch dissolved in 1 Tablespoon hot water
green onions (optional)
Directions & Notes:
1. Lightly salt the chicken legs and place in the crock pot.
2. Combine the honey, soy sauce, diced onion, ketchup, minced garlic, and red pepper flakes. Pour over the chicken and cook on low 3-4 hours.
3. After 3-4 hours when chicken is cooked and tender, remove chicken from the crock pot. Add the cornstarch and water mixture to the crock pot, cover and cook on for about 10 minutes until slightly thickened.
4. Serve chicken over rice with sauce from the crock pot. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions if desired.
