1 cup of oats (For China shoppers, I just use the cheap, flat, scoop-able ones from the supermarket, the kind that usually take longer to cook than the pre-packaged, instant ones. Either kind work, but these ones are cheaper.)
Directions & Notes:
I love using oat flour to add some whole grain to lots of our recipes. It’s great for when whole wheat flour isn’t available locally.
This is kind of common sense, but lots of friends I’ve talked to haven’t been aware that you can do this, so here’s the recipe: Just put 1 cup of oats into the blender or food processor and pulse until desired texture is reached. One cup of oats yields about 1 1/4 cups of oat flour.
